This Two-way CB PMR446 Radio Walkie-Talkie is ideal for professionals, security, farmers, production, and hotel services. With a universal charger and extended working distance, it is also a good choice for tourism, hunting, and outdoor sports. Unlicensed use in most European countries (16 predefined PMR446 channels).
This radio – LT-458-PRO special edition –Â has some distinguishing features:
• The radio power on several channels (see the frequency grid) is set to HIGH*, this allows to expand working range (cover). On the other channels, the radio power is set to LOW, which allows extending of the battery life in normal conditions;
• CTCSS and DCS coding is programmed on channels 9-12 (see the frequency grid), this allows getting rid of main interference;
• We have double-checked all the characteristics of the radios with the instruments and can guarantee that they are in full conformity.

NOTE:
Full frequency compatibility of a pair of walkie-talkies in one package is guaranteed. This means they are programmed with the same frequencies and CTCSS/DCS codes for each channel.
However, different batches of radios may have channels programmed differently. Below are the frequency grids of Luiton LT-458 two-way radios with serial numbers containing digits 17XX…21XX and 21XX … 22XX. You can see that the frequencies on each channel are identical, but the CTCSS / DCS encodings are not set in the newer batches. However, old and new batches are compatible on channels 2, 3, and 15. On these same channels, old batch radios are likely to be compatible with other manufacturers’ PMR band walkie-talkies.
Of course, you can always re-program your radio parameters using a USB/COM-port programming cable and compatible software (available for our customers by request).
