Description

High-flow tankless reverse osmosis system for offices, cafés and large homes

The RO400 is a tankless direct-flow reverse osmosis system designed for locations that need more purified water than a standard domestic RO unit can provide. It is suitable for small cafés, bars, offices, gyms, beauty salons, studios, waiting rooms and larger homes.

Thanks to the 400 GPD reverse osmosis membrane and integrated booster pump, the system produces up to 65 litres of purified water per hour, without requiring a separate storage tank. This makes the RO400 a practical solution where space is limited but daily water demand is high.

Filtration stages

The RO400 uses a 5-stage filtration process to reduce sediment, chlorine, odours, dissolved salts and many common impurities found in potable inlet water.

  • Stage 1: Ionicore Blue antibacterial melt-blown polypropylene cartridge 10″ – 5 micron.
  • Stage 2: Green Filter granular activated carbon cartridge 9-3/4″.
  • Stage 3: Green Filter carbon block cartridge 2.5″ x 9-3/4″ – 10 micron.
  • Stage 4: Ionicore TFC reverse osmosis membrane 3013 – 400 GPD.
  • Stage 5: RO400 inline GAC post-filter 1/4″ OD stem 2″ x 10″ for final taste polishing.

Alternative third-stage cartridge: Pentek SCBC-10 silver carbon block cartridge 2-7/8″ x 9-3/4″ – 0.5 micron.

Installation and maintenance

The RO400 can be installed under a sink, under a counter or mounted on a wall using its sturdy metal base. The integrated pump helps the system operate even when the inlet water pressure is relatively low.

For best performance, filter cartridges should be replaced regularly according to inlet water quality and usage volume. In commercial environments such as cafés, offices, gyms and salons, maintenance intervals may be shorter than in a household installation.

Important water-quality note

This reverse osmosis system is intended for use with potable inlet water. It is not a device that makes any unknown or unsafe water automatically drinkable. Do not use the system with microbiologically unsafe water or water of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before and after the system.

For well water or poor-quality inlet water, professional water analysis and suitable pre-treatment are recommended. If desired, the system can be supplemented with a remineralising filter to improve final water balance and taste.

Complies with applicable requirements including UNE 149101 and Italian Ministerial Decrees 25/2012 and 174/2004, according to supplier documentation.
