Replacement filters last much longer than normal systems due to the increased amount of adsorbent. Crystal also outperforms other brands because it is much easier to replace filters due to the special fasteners which require minimal time and effort (click-and-turn technology). In addition, filters are replaced with housing that prevents contamination.

Crystal makes your tap water safe to drink. It reduces the presence of harmful substances and removes particles up to 0.8 micron. The softening cartridge KH contains ion-exchange resin and can be regenerated multiple times using salt. We recommend using softening sorption filters when water is moderately hard (limescale builds in 10-14 days). For highly mineralized water the RO filter is the best option.*
Spare cartridge set for a water filter:
– K5 – sediment filter cartridge for pre-filtration. Replacement sediment filter manufactured from 100% Polypropylene. It is used to retain dirt and other sediment particles 5 micron or larger in the incoming water.
– KH – Replacement cartridge for water softening. Reduces limescale build-up in hard water. Contains ion-exchange resin. KH is used with Aquaphor Crystal drinking water purifiers. Filter life depends on water hardness and can be replenished through a regeneration procedure. The used cartridge is replaced with housing to prevent user contact with contaminants.
– K7 – Water purification and carbon-fiber-block finishing filter with AQUALEN ion-exchange fiber. AQUALEN modified fiber distributes water flows in a Super Dense filter, in order to achieve maximum purification. Reduces the formation of suspended particles and sediments 0.8 microns or larger in the water inlet. Contains silver in activated ionic form.
