Replacement filter K1:
Prefiltration cartridge Aquaphor K1 is a full-fledged 2-in-1 unit, as it performs the job of two cartridges. To deliver both the advanced prefiltration and dissolved impurities reduction at a time, K1 has two active filtration zones.
The first filtration zone contains the increased volume of AQUAPHOR advanced sorption media — Aqualen™, the company`s patented filtration technology. At this step, it effectively reduces Fe2+ and Fe3+, and filters out sand and other coarse particles down to 10 microns.
The second filtration zone cuts off particles down to 3 microns and with its activated coconut carbon, powered with Aqualen™ fiber, it serves as a long-lasting shield against dissolved harmful substances including residues of heavy metals, pharmaceuticals, or pesticides.
Replacement filter K2:
Aquaphor K2 is designed with CarbFiber Block technology; the replacement filter uses finely divided activated coconut shell carbon. Its dense structure allows it to effectively remove organic impurities and active chlorine from the water. It filters particles down to 3 microns in size.
Containing modified selective chelating groups, the ion-exchange Aqualen fibers deeply and irreversibly purify the water from heavy metals.
The replacement filter contains silver in its active ionic form.
Replacement filter K7BM:
Aquaphor K7BM is used as the final step in Aquaphor reverse osmosis purifiers. It provides water conditioning and remineralization for better taste and recommended electrolyte balance of the drinking water.
The cartridge combines an activated coconut shell carbon block (sorption of harmful substances) and a hollow fiber membrane (antibacterial protection).
It effectively removes even micro-quantities of any toxic impurities, including active chlorine, heavy metals, and organic compounds.
The hollow fiber membrane retains the smallest particles up to 0.1 microns and provides 99,99% protection against bacteria*.
K7BM also ensures water conditioning, enriching the water with the necessary amount of Mg and Ca to improve its taste and optimize the mineral balance.
