Crystal is a reliable sorption filter that provides basic water purification for drinking and cooking, while softening the moderately hard water.

Features & Benefits:

Universal carbfiber filter block filter that deeply purifies and softens moderately hard water.

The system deeply purifies tap water from a wide range of dangerous contaminants: chlorine, heavy metals, pesticides, petroleum products, and other common toxins and allergens. Three CarbFiber block modules are manufactured using Aqualen – the patented ion-exchange fiber. Therefore the contact area of water and sorbents is 42 times higher than that of granular сarbon filters, while the filtration rate is four times higher.

The softening cartridge KH contains ion-exchange resin and can be regenerated multiple times using salt. We recommend using softening sorption filters when water is moderately hard (limescale builds in 10-14 days). For highly mineralized water the RO filter is the best option.

Deep purification
Three filtration stages provide both softening and purification down to 0.8 microns. The filter removes harmful substances commonly found in city tap water.

Crystal H reduces chlorine and its annoying odor, filters out sediment and other visible contaminants for cleaner, clearer water. It protects from many health-threatening impurities like organic compounds, pesticides, lead, and other heavy metals.

Adapter Aquaphor for regeneration Crystal KH (PRO H) regeneration kit

Aquaphor Crystal KH and PRO KH Cartridges are designed with a blend of premium ion-exchange resins that effectively remove limescale via ion exchange. Over time, as the cartridge is used, the resin will gradually become saturated with limescale deposits.

Regeneration is straightforward and can be done using common table salt.

To regenerate the resin:

Mix water with a generous amount of salt in a clean, standard plastic bottle with the bottom removed to serve as a funnel.
Attach the bottle to the pre-assembled adapter.
Connect this setup to your KH cartridge.
Pump the saline solution through the cartridge to dissolve and remove the limescale buildup.

Please refer to the “RECOVERY OF KH CARTRIDGE” section in your cartridge’s manual for detailed instructions.

Recovery frequency depends on the initial hardness of your water. The KH softening cartridge, with its ion-exchange resin, is ideal for water with moderate to average hardness. For water hardness levels exceeding 5 mEq/L, the use of a reverse osmosis water filter is advisable for optimal results.

The cartridge combines an activated coconut shell carbon block (sorption of harmful substances) and a hollow fiber membrane (antibacterial protection).

It effectively removes even micro-quantities of any toxic impurities, including active chlorine, heavy metals, and organic compounds.

The hollow fiber membrane retains the smallest particles up to 0.1 microns and provides 99,99% protection against bacteria*.
